Matthys Pretorius
Matthys Pretorius is the Founder of AfterDark Post Production and a globally experienced Post Production Executive, online editor, and colorist with over 25 years in film and television.
Formerly Senior Post Production Executive for Unscripted Africa at Amazon MGM Studios, Matthys oversaw Prime Video productions across the UK, South Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa. He played a key role in aligning local productions with international streaming standards, managing complex delivery pipelines and guiding first-time Local Originals to successful global release.
Irfaan Fredericks
Irfaan Fredericks is a film and television producer with over two decades of experience working across African and international markets. He is known for building strong production frameworks and delivering premium scripted content that meets global standards while remaining regionally authentic.
From 2014 to 2021, Irfaan co-owned and managed Kalahari Film & Media, helping grow the company into a leading production house producing both studio-backed and independent films with international talent.
